Ingredients
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
Glaze
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a bread pan with pam. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, yogurt, peanut butter, butter and eggs. In a separate medium bowl, combine the sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, nutmeg, salt, cinnamon and allspice. Add half the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing to combine. Add the rest of the dry ingredients and transfer to bread pan. Bake for an hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. About 35 minutes in, I decided to top my bread with foil, in order to prevent over-browning. Once bread is completely cool, remove from pan and transfer to plate. To make the glaze, combine the "glaze" ingredients together in a small bowl. Add more milk if you want it thinner. Drizzle on top of the bread using a fork or transfer to a small ziplock bag and cut the corner off with scissors. Cut into slices and enjoy!
