Avocado Tuna Pitas

Sandwiches
- 1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
- 6 oz. chunk light tuna in water, drained
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 whole wheat pitas
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1 Roma tomato, sliced
Aioli
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mash the avocado and tuna together and sea on with the salt and pepper. Fill the pitas with the tuna and add a few lettuce leaves and slices of tomato. For the aioli, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, garlic and lemon juice together in a small bowl. Whisk in the olive oil until combined. Drizzle on top of the tuna.
